In 2023, Jade Renee, a Los Angeles singer and songwriter, joined the team at Secret Walls, a beloved venue partner for the team at Sofar LA. As an artist and musician, Jade was eager to continue building community through art and experience, thus creating a stage for Sofar Artists. We caught up with Jade and all that goes on inside the Los Angeles warehouse turned creative hub.
What makes hosting Sofar shows (at Secret Walls) special for you?
We love expanding our friends and artist community. We have collaborated and performed with the artists to live paintings, which has been such a joy for us.

Sofar shows fit into the creative culture of Secret Walls by bringing intimate, music-forward energy that complements the live art battles. Both emphasize raw talent, community vibes, and pop-up experiences that feel fresh and underground.
What’s one thing about Secret Walls most people don’t know?
One thing most people don’t know about Secret Walls is that it started as a rogue, underground art battle in a London pub in 2006! We will be 20 years old next year!
