Sofar Artists are setting the stage this summer, so we’re sharing venues where the view is as captivating as the music. From rooftop gardens to floating clubs, these backdrops give the artists (a little) competition. See the list of our favorite summer spots— where Sofar shows meet epic scenery.
Willy Wall | New York City, NY, USA
This floating clubhouse anchored in New York Harbor delivers waterfront views with a skyline you can’t beat. Only accessible by boat, the Honorable William Wall (aka “Willy Wall”) becomes a breezy Sofar venue (and Sofar team favorite). The city fades behind you, and the music floats with the tide, becoming an unexpected bucket-list night. It’s part secret concert, part summer adventure.

Greenhouse at Hotel Emeline | Charleston, SC, USA
Tucked in the courtyard of one of Charleston’s dreamiest boutique hotels, the Greenhouse at Hotel Emeline is a vintage, sun-dappled hideaway. Surrounded by ferns and exposed brick, it’s the perfect cozy-but-chic backdrop for Sofar sets that stretch into the golden hour. It’s giving slow sips, soft lights, and a soundtrack of Southern charm.

Susock Museum | Beirut, Lebanon
Sofar Beirut takes over the historic Sursock Museum, where Mediterranean architecture and tree-lined terraces set the scene. Overlooking the city’s hills and coast, it’s a timeless backdrop for live performances that blend echoes of the past and present. It’s not just a show—it’s a summer night steeped in history and sound.

Pullman Hotel | Lima, Peru
Modern design meets mountain-lined skies at the Pullman Hotel rooftop in Lima. With panoramic views stretching over San Isidro and beyond, the open-air terrace becomes a breezy stage for Sofar artists lighting up the night. It’s the kind of scene that makes you pause just to take it all in.

Urban Park Roof Garden | Boston, MA, USA
Nobody is celebrating summer quite like Sofar Boston. In partnership with the Urban Park Roof Garden, located in the heart of Kendall Square Park, the lush greenery and epic skylines give a stunning scene for artist stages. The ongoing summer series has upcoming show dates, a beer garden, and a pickleball court. Need we say more?

La chapelle Reille | Paris, France
Tucked inside a lush garden in the heart of Paris, La Chapelle Reille is a 19th-century chapel turned Sofar sanctuary. Think ivy-draped stone, stained glass glows, and music echoing under vaulted ceilings—summer in Paris doesn’t get more romantic than this. Don’t let the lack of air conditioning deter you, Sofar Paris Curator Bastien says, “the Lord keeps the heat out.”
