Your Sofar Artist News is here—time to grab your calendar. February is packed with festival lineups, tour dates, new releases, and album announcements. Check out these fresh drops from familiar and new favorites—and maybe put in that time-off request.
1. A few months ago, we promised more stage time for the viral “Sailor Song” star Gigi Perez, and we’ve got updates! She’s hitting the Lowcountry at South Carolina’s High Water Festival alongside Sofar alums flipturn, Medium Build, and Julien Baker. The following weekend, just due north, Gigi Perez and flipturn will join Teddy Swims and Lola Young at the Lovin’ Life Fest while Remi Wolf joins Copilot in their hometown for Boston Calling. And as summer rolls in, Remi Wolf and Gigi Perez will meet up at Hinterland Festival for an epic lineup including Sofar VIP Artist, Willow Avalon. Has the FOMO hit yet?
2. Speaking of Sofar alumni, Charley Crockett released his single “Lonesome Drifter.” The track shares the title of his upcoming album, set to release in March, giving us a preview of an unadulterated outlaw country record. Hear it live on his North American tour with dates including another Sofar legacy, Leon Bridges!
3. Sad girl indie-pop lovers, settle in—Eliza Harrison Smith just released The Way I’m Wired, a collection of intimate yet catchy tracks that feel like flipping through an old journal. Reflecting on “Bring You Down”, she admits, “There is so much more I could say, but I already feel like this song is two minutes and 40 seconds of me oversharing!” We can relate.
4. Keeping it personal, “Everything Moves” was released by the epic ensemble of Ed Proskek, featuring Driftwood Choir and Portair. The classically trained Berlin native noted, “This song is the embodiment of what it feels like to let go and is something very dear to us.” This cosmic track is an immediate yes for those late-night vibes.
5. Hannah Grace’s new EP, Golden, has been on repeat. Across three tracks, she blends delicate harmonies with the poetic lyricism of influences like Joni Mitchell and Carole King. And just like Carole, her piano work shines through. Hear Hannah live with upcoming tour dates in the EU and UK!
6. London-based artist, Latir, just dropped his single “Untitled,” and we’re in our feeeels. This atmospheric anthem pairs his alt-R&B vocals with a sound that’s both refreshing and heavy. Latir is the kind of artist you lock in with, noise-canceling headphones on—and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.
