The Brussels-based trio treated us to a full live performance of their soft folk through spoken word and tender three-part harmonies. Let it play on as you all casually enjoy the meal together.
3. eBONE x Taj – High | Sofar Boston
Ok, everyone’s nice and relaxed, perhaps entering a bit of a food coma, so we need a little something to pep us up, but not to overwhelm. This hypnotic track from eBONE x Taj will do the trick. The duo pulls us in with a mix of synthy wash, looped tight beats, and trombone rhythms, then comes Tajahniya Sapp’s lush, clear voice floating over the top.
4. Oneironauts – Right Here Right Now | Sofar London
Dessert’s out and we want to keep the vibe even-keeled, so we’ll go to Oneironauts. The three-piece band’s performance of “Right Here Right Now” is sultry with a strong R&B backbone, a chef’s kiss to the full dinner experience.
5. Nick Hakim – Green Twins | Sofar London
Perhaps the night’s winding down and you’re looking for that perfect night cap of a song. Well, Nick Hakim provides it with this ultra warm, soulful performance of “Green Twins”, where the artist’s voice and guitar blend into the smoothest sonic texture, somehow both ethereal and grounded. The perfect send-off for the evening.
