The trio, composed of three guitarists, focuses its musical offer on the cultural and musical exchange of different regions of the world, exploring especially the mixture of Latin American, Portuguese and French rhythms that represent the nationality and homeland of each of its members: Nicolás Urrego, Tiago Almeida, Raphaël Duchosal-Binaz. The project also aims to give a new face to chamber music for classical guitar, mixing traditional rhythms, jazz elements and academic music. Furthermore, by putting together an original program for our concerts, we want to share a theme that is close to our hearts : the way in which the cultural identity of each trio influences and shapes the identity of Trio Camaïeu. Trio Camaïeu has participated in various international events, such as the concert series of the "Zurich Guitar Days" 2022 and 2023, as well as the festival "Guitarart" 2022 in Belgrade, Serbia. The group also gave a series of concerts in Colombia, in the main cultural centers of cities such as Bogotá, Medellín and Calí. Currently, the trio has confirmed a series of concerts in 2023 and 2024 in Switzerland and a tour in Portugal, such as the "Gena Festival Open Air" 2023 and the "Festival Las Noches" 2024.
Trio Camaïeu has performed in Sofar Porto.
