Toaster is an artist, organizer, and educator from Chicago's north side, who still couldn't tell you what any of that means. From his early days at Young Chicago Authors, where he participated in both the Saturday writing program and the nationally-recognized poetry competition "Louder Than A Bomb," he quickly learned the importance of a recognizable name and good social skills. Since, his work has appeared on stages ranging from the Metro to Victory Gardens and the Vic, as well as in a variety of literary magazines and anthologies. His chapbook, "Floating Heads," was published by Watch the Steps Press in YEAR.
Toaster has performed in Sofar Chicago and Sofar San Francisco.
