Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, MIDI has always sought out art to make sense of his reality. Since a young age, MIDI has pursued street poets such as Lupe Fiasco, Andre 3000, Jay-Z and Eminem to shed light on their own life experiences, with the hope that their words would translate and make sense of his own world. His experiences as a hyper-aware kid living in some of the worst neighborhoods of Chicago, being a lover of the visual arts, literature, and just everyday conversations with people have shaped and inspired Jamman to now share his work with the world around him.
