Drew Neirin is a Blues Guitarist, Soul Singer Songwriter & multi instrumentalist, based in Bath, Somerset, UK. Having grown up in Manchester, The Isle of Skye and Worcestershire, Drew began learning music and playing the piano around 5, picking up the guitar at aged 11. With an early love of classic blues & RnB, this became a natural starting point in the musical journey. Having been in rock, punk & metal bands throughout his teens, Drew eventually broke off to explore a solo singer songwriter path, taking influence from predominantly acoustic sources, such as the likes of ‘Norah Jones’, ‘Jack Johnson’, ‘Amos Lee’ & ‘Eric Clapton’s Unplugged album, as well as from bands like ‘The Police’, Reef & ‘The Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Years later, after picking up the electric once again, Drews’ style finds a balance amongst all of these influences, crediting ‘Tom Morello’ John Mayer & Eric Clapton’ as key guitar playing inspirations. ‘Bob Marley’, ‘Norah Jones’, ‘James Brown’ & ‘Jack Johnson’ as inspirations for his vocals. Drew Neirin combines soulful and strong vocals, with guitar playing reminiscent of some of the great 20th century blues artists.
