Singer/Songwriter, Folk, Pop Paul Weber, geboren 1994, lebt in Köln. Seine Musik klingt handgemacht, ehrlich und ist inspiriert durch zahlreiche Musiker der amerikanischen und britischen Folk/Pop und Rock Szene. In seinen Texten singt er von Aufbruch, Freiheit, Liebe und Träumen. Als Frontman der Band „The OWs“, war er 2014 Preisträger des Bundeswettbewerbes „Treffen Junge Musikszene“, sowie Teilnehmer am „Popcamp 2015“. 2016 nahm der Singer/Songwriter an der „Nahaufnahme-Treffen Junge Musik-Szene“ teil. Seit zwei Jahren ist er nun als Solo-Künstler mit Band unterwegs. Am 16.06.2017 erscheint seine Debut EP „In Between“.

Together with a collective of musician friends they make music that speaks to the sacred & profane seasons of the human experience. At the heart of their music are contemplative lyrics with a strong bent towards lament paired with haunting melodies with a liturgical feel. Biography 'Ryan O'Reilly, from Southampton, England, is a songwriter who's Irish parentage and English upbringing combines to create a passionate storyteller, with dark humour sewn deep into the fabric of his searingly honest lyrics. Ryan followed a uniquely meandering path on his musical journey, starting by performing at open-mic nights in Toronto as a teenager, graduating to street busking in London. This quickly grew popular enough to inspire fan-booked European tours and paying for studio time with the busking money made when not running away from the Police on Portobello Road. Ryan's style of writing delves into detail and circumstance, fatalism and symbolism, like open letters, told unfalteringly by Ryan's unmistakable vocal. Creating a tension between melancholy and defiance whilst possessing a swirling undercurrent of a wistful and twisted worldview that manifests itself in the schadenfreude Ryan unleashes at his live shows and the poetry of his records, reviews often mention tears of laughter and sadness in equal measure.
