I know it\u2019s hard to plan with weather, but the lights\/view\/temp were perfect! \u2014 Up on the Roof in Washington, DC<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open Sky<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take in the music under an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/lists\/open-sky\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open Sky<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and let your body sway to the breeze, the music, and a little bit of both at these shows in unique outdoor venues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Does it get any more \u201copen sky\u201d than hearing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/joshbarrymusic\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Josh Barry<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s sweeping vocals just beside Westminster Abbey? The British singer-songwriter wowed the crowd at our historic Westminster show in 2022:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Josh Barry - All Add Up | Sofar London\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yU3sLDOqBAU?list=PL4_SsHNp9R6cf6pDTSSmz2XUWUh4Z7Hck\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At a super recent outdoor show, the incredibly talented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/katcunning\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kat Cunning<\/a> took this crowd\u2019s breath away with her sharp voice, backed only by the grit of an electric guitar:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kat Cunning - King of Shadow | Sofar Los Angeles\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Rzo3WKVMpeU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An already beautiful song, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCtDpHXSJYg4QWrbywQenK0Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Phosphenes<\/a>\u2019 \u201cDust\u201d was made even more remarkable thanks to the wide-open space the band and audience found themselves at this Sofar Kathmandu performance:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Phosphenes - Dust | Sofar Kathmandu\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zAJhxxuORTE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A song that floats along a river, much like the one behind <a href=\"https:\/\/aiguamusica.bandcamp.com\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Aigua<\/a> (a band whose name translates to water) in this Sofar Gothenburg performance, \u201cIlla de sal\u201d, is a drifting hypnotic tune, featuring just melodeon and guitar.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Aigua - Illa de sal | Sofar Gothenburg\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UCBAOZqEYSw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I loved the diversity of the line-up (Pride-themed show!). The venue also added some magic to the night.
