We partnered with London Heathrow Airport for a series of summer concerts at Terminal 5. \u201cHeathrow Introducing\u201d featured a lineup of emerging artists who played for the 30 million passengers traveling through the airport this summer. Maybe there\u2019s a disco ball.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strong guitar moments and synth motifs weave seamlessly together to create a glittery longing for that person we love but can\u2019t quite figure out why.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You may have seen Oh He Dead in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/blog\/articles\/noteworthy-artists-sofar-part-2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">our recent Noteworthy Artists<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> article, and you\u2019ll likely see them again in the very near future. Joy<\/a> got <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtjoyband.com\/tour\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">their North America tour<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> underway this month, with massive upcoming dates at Red Rocks, Madison Square Garden, and Chicago\u2019s Salt Shed. North London singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/34c3b95E9ZQPMPapPOv8RW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hohnen Ford<\/a>\u2019s new single \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/3wLq6MPdUv2fAE0l06ugFV?si=d66ba723674041b4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I Wish I Had A God<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d strikes a nostalgic chord. The track tells of the love the singer has for a lost parent, and how much she\u2019d be willing to bargain in order to see them again. \u201cTake my internal organs, tell me it would be ok. I wish I had a God, so I could see you again,\u201d Ford sings over sparse piano chords.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To add to the nostalgia? Ford wrote and recorded the song in her childhood bedroom.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We\u2019re not crying. It\u2019s a song about overthinking things, and how we\u2019d rather swap our anxious thoughts with thoughts of the ones we love. Now, Conroy\u2019s released an unfiltered version of the track.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/5Z9UDpzXB48zNT4IL2WAJJ?si=z2oD31SoTTSqha1k2ptziw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn My Head (Stripped Down)\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> features only Conroy\u2019s masterful vocal delivery and a soft synth.
