{"id":3153,"date":"2024-06-13T16:25:06","date_gmt":"2024-06-13T16:25:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/blog\/?p=3153"},"modified":"2024-06-13T16:25:42","modified_gmt":"2024-06-13T16:25:42","slug":"for-the-music-with-sony-march-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/blog\/articles\/for-the-music-with-sony-march-2024","title":{"rendered":"For the Music With Sony March 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Artists are integral to everything we do here at Sofar, and our partnership with Sony Electronics is just one way we\u2019re able to give artists a solid platform to develop and perform their music.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sony\u2019s audio brand, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forthemusic.electronics.sony.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>For the Music,<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> fosters comprehensive collaboration with artists, from creating music all the way through the end of the process: listening to it the way it was intended to be heard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/blog\/articles\/for-the-music-with-sony\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We wrote about For the Music back in December<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where we shared some highlights from sets at Second Home \u2013 the two acre coworking campus in Hollywood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those initial events were so successful, we traveled south to JULEP in San Diego for another unforgettable evening of live music. Like last time, competition winners experienced the latest Sony technology with a curated playlist of music from the night\u2019s lineup, and then got to watch those three incredible Sofar artists perform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now we\u2019re stoked to share more performances from the most recent For the Music showcase last month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The genre-bending Dominican-Irish <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/0zzKHfNZYWeOjJpHdhT1Ck?si=qeKsgq1pQ7-b8KoDz3qYFQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jame Minogue<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> wowed the crowd with his song \u201cPleasure\u201d, a bilingual groove complete with fuzzy guitar effects <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">on an acoustic guitar<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: audio magic that only Sony is capable of capturing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Jame Minogue I Pleasure | For The Music with Sony\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kbNZfImDcvE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Magic doesn\u2019t quite come close to describing <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/01JTBCdUSeGj8AVsJ1yay8?si=gEwS2kX-TQmc9sP7_Do_Zw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rachell Rivas<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019 soul-stirring performance of her song \u201cFit Anymore\u201d. It\u2019s a break-up song \u2013 jazzy, luscious \u2013 that bears no secrets.
