Here\u2019s our artist news March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.\u00a0 We\u2019re always blown away when Sofar artists <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sofarsounds.com\/blog\/articles\/sofar-covers-we-love-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cover songs in their own jaw-dropping ways<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so we were extra excited to hear the newest track from <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/7Gv2m6LRpBmAheRectfl2E?si=4rrRYJbdSKecrzJypAfq_A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Wendlo<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The Atlanta, GA-based duo recently released their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/track\/2PdoYKA3EaDONpM35hqxBl?si=3e722eaded724c09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">own tender version of \u201cI Love You Always Forever\u201d<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the \u201890s pop-hit initially sung by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SqdWTeXWvOg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Donna Lewis<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It\u2019s one to add to the queue, for certain, right after you revisit the Texas artist\u2019s Sofar Live set from 2020. Ever heard of a little gathering by the name of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sxsw.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">South by Southwest<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">? The one where thousands of outrageously talented artists descend on Austin, TX for a week of nonstop creativity? Well, it just happened, and loads of Sofar artists were there, like <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/2S11VlKvbvSKyyb7Wk4YP1?si=9p_KIaQdR1KwCjy_kS1OvQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Oracle Sisters<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/6AdFoQsWjrVfWwi4BWYXCH?si=J_WwMdpeQLeysIcZ3jGXAw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>MAUVEY<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/2nE9x2JhbyjBVCaSnUGX3G?si=8CDhFyZfTJ6i7GRQQJp1QQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Victoria Canal<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/02zPEtdzUWnPToEVLRiQ7e?si=ghUo2Q9FR8Gqbe90p8F1oA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Madison McFerri<\/b><\/a><b>n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014the list just goes and goes. Fortunately we had the chance to catch up with a few of these awesome artists. Oh, and speaking of Madison McFerrin\u2014she\u2019s got a brand new single out, \u201cGod Herself\u201d that you\u2019ve gotta listen to. And while you\u2019re at it, revisit one of our favorite performances from Madison McFerrin, one where she makes a tapestry of a song with nothing but a voice and a pedal as her needle and thread.\u00a0 It\u2019s. So. The shows will mostly be around the UK, with a few evenings scattered across Europe. It\u2019s nice to catch the artist playing with a full band, though we gotta admit, we loved getting to see the London-based artist play this stripped down, energetic performance of \u201cAll In Your Head\u201d.
