And in the first words of his spoken word piece, \u201cthe 10 stages of grieving the loss of your firstborn,\u201d it becomes achingly clear why. The ethereal melody keeps things light, while Yomi\u2019s beautiful singing-storyteller voice unravels a tale of deep connection. \u201cCause the grass seems so much greener near you\u201d feels so relatable that it makes her poetic sadness ours as well.
