Cue the cold drinks and beach chairs, summer is here to bring us some much-needed Vitamin D! As we seize the season and make the most of summer, we asked the Sofar team to share the albums that feel most like a sunny summer day. This album came out the day after I moved to NYC and I'll forever associate it with that first summer. One of my favorite things about the city is how much music you hear blasting out of apartments and cars in the summertime, and I feel like this album was everywhere. It's still a favorite for cleaning, driving, and playing out of a Bluetooth speaker on the beach. — Kalyn, NYC
This album reminds me of living down in Brighton (a seaside city), hanging out with friends, drinking out of plastic cups (when you were still doing that) on the beach. — Eleanor, London
I remember my first summer away at school, walking around an empty college campus listening to tracks like "Suburban Beverage" and "Pool Swimmers" and feeling a certain kind of peace that only summertime can bring. The perfect soundtrack for hot days outside! — Billy, Boston
Don’t have it on too loud for the first time and make sure you’re not on shuffle mood. Some of the songs need easing into like a best friend you didn’t like at first. But once you’ve learned more about them it’s happily ever after. — Jeffery, London
This album feels like a good dose of Vitamin D. Whether I'm reading on my roof, mixing some cold drinks, or powering through a WFH day, Harry keeps me going. — Mara, NYC
