Sofar Bergen Throws Concert in Cave

Ever gone to a concert in a cave? For the Sofar Turns 10 show, our Bergen team hosted in the volunteer-run concert venue Hulen, a former bomb shelter. Edvard Borneo, L.U:N.A and Ivo Lima all performed at this "underground" show.

Order in the Sofar! Leeds Hosts in Courtroom

As part of its series this year hosting in historic buildings, Sofar Leeds hosted a show in the Old Courtroom in Leeds Town Hall. The building dates back to the 1850s, but hosted some modern sets from Megan Dixon Hood, Swimming Bell and Far Caspian.

Lucy Rose Plays Intimate Set in Mexico City

We’ve been lucky to have British singer-songwriter play with Sofar in the past, in Montevideo as part of a tour she organized through South America. Just last month, she joiend us at another Latin America Sofar, this time in Mexico City with other sets from Chilean singer Benjamin Walker and tropical Mexican act Pachará.

Raising Money for Charity in Leeds

Sofar Leeds has had a busy few months! They’ve not only been hosting in awesome venues, but they also hosted a charity gig for Leeds organization MAP Charity, a music and arts charity working with young people not accessing mainstream schools. Guests contributed to funds that would be used to help purchase the building MAP is in, since they were at risk from being evicted for renovated apartments. Local music producer Super Friendz chipped in as well to provide the venue and tech for the show. All came together to create a great community-based show!
