Zorila

ZORILA is an indie-rock band based in Chicago, IL. The band was formed as a collision of four lifelong musicians Stewart and Henry Arp (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar; Backup Vocals, Bass Guitar) Nate Finn (Lead Guitar) and Anthony Hish (Drums and Percussion). Originally from Champaign, IL, ZORILA chose to make the move upstate as they began to perform at more Chicago venues. In 2019, the band released their debut album “Sidney” with Electric Train Records, and had planned to tour their album during the spring and summer of 2020. Despite COVID-19, the band has continued to write and release new music, their most recent single releases being “Wayside” and “Promenade.” ZORILA may seem like your standard rock band on the surface, but deep within the band there are many influences and nuances that mesh to form a diverse sound that can sucker punch you in the face and later take you out to a candle lit dinner. ZORILA’s music is provocative, with conscious lyrics and rich instrumentals. Since moving to Chicago, the band has added David DeAngelis (Keyboards, Violin) and Michael Brook (Keyboards, Saxophone) to continue their sonic evolution. Known best for their high-energy live performances (and parties), ZORILA is one of the most cohesive up-and-coming live acts in Chicago. Since the world has begun opening up again in 2021, ZORILA has spent the summer playing every show they could find, whether it was in a backyard, on a rooftop, on a float in a parade, or in any of the reopening Chicago venues. The band is currently gearing up to release new music in 2022.
