Zaid Khan is a folk-pop singer-songwriter with a strong obsession of camelids. He recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, where he minored in Songwriting and actively engaged in the local music scene. Having released two DIY records, Bearskin and First World Syndrome, as well as his recent studio single, Alpaca Farm, Zaid is on track to release a third album by the end of 2019. His music tackles poignant messages like how many goats your dowry is worth. Zaid enjoys using baritone ukulele, guitar, banjo, piano, and even kazoo in the pop-context of his music. His live performance setup supports this rotation with drum & synth pads from his loop pedal to create a one-man-band. With a degree under his belt and music experience to boot, Zaid is currently residing in Phoenix and seeking performance opportunities at local venues. Feel free to reach out to him for inquiries or a friendly greeting!
