Yaan is Thai Contemporary World Music group based in Bangkok, Thailand. Formed in 2012. Yaan means “Episteme” or “The Wisdom from Soul” Yaan mixed the sound of Southeast Asian, Indian Classical Music, Western Classical Music, Tribal, Hawaii Sound, Drone Music, Thai traditional and Latin rhythms sometimes with Psychedelic feeling blending all these sounds by the band member communicate from there instruments. Yaan recorded the new single with Zudrangma Records and performing world music sounds every 2nd Wednesday of the month at Studio Lam and every 1st sunday of the month at the center stage, JJ Green market along 2015-16.
YAAN has performed in Sofar Bangkok.
