WOWH

WOWH are the London based writing/production duo Nick Harrison and Toby Couling. Forming last year in a studio in New Cross they came together to explore a shared of love of 60s pop song writing, groove and synthesisers. Both multi-instrumentalists and producers in their own right WOWH have been biding their time and honing their sound - which is laced with layered harmonies, soul and effortless production. Their debut track ‘Pack Up Your Bag’ has amassed over 70k plays on Spotify. Recorded in their own studio and several around London the pair teamed up with mix engineer Matt Wiggins (Florence & The Machine/Adele/MIA) who lent his skills to this their debut EP. Effortless vocals, killer grooves and intelligent production scythes through the tracks and shines a light on a duo that clearly has a big future ahead of them. 2016 saw WOWH release their debut EP ‘Pop’ on Novemeber 18 th 2016… WOWH played a number of festivals including Secret Garden Party and Citadel Festival as well a sold out shows at The Sebright Arms, The Social and Birthdays. In addition they were invited to record live sessions for Sofar Sounds and the Secret Garden Party. 2017 WOWH released their single “Suffer” which was premiered with DIY Magazine and garnered huge press attention. A sold out show followed at London’s The Islington, a live session on BBC London on the Robert Elm show and spot plays on Virgin Radio. WOWH were runners up in the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent competition and were invited to play the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury 2017, garnering huge attention and praise, on their televised appearance - https://www.bbc.co.uk/events/ec584f/play/p056v77k
