Hailing from Toronto, Gabriel DeSantis gained attention by self-recording the first Whitebrow album in a vacant 200-year-old church. The album’s strong reception allowed for DeSantis and the band (Rosalyn Dennett, Sam Petite and Frank Evans) to tour North America and caught the ear of twice Grammy nominated producer, Darryl Neudorf, who would work with the band on the follow-up record. Mono Vodou was produced by Neudorf and mastered by Peter J. Moore (Bob Dylan, Cowboy Junkies). Last year DeSantis moved to London and toured throughout Europe.
Whitebrow has performed in Sofar London, Sofar Coimbra, Sofar Hamburg, Sofar Gothenburg, Sofar Oslo, Sofar Breda, Sofar Cologne, Sofar Philadelphia, Sofar Chicago, Sofar Washington D.C., and Sofar NYC.
