Warik

Warik is a 21 year old native from the Chicago area best known so far for his lofi jangle, art-rock/pop album “WARIK’S TAPE”. Influenced by contemporary indie rock and classic soul/funk artists, Warik seeks to push rock music into the modern era with use of vocal and instrumental effects and his unique soulful touch to the music. Malik Lemon (warik) is a self taught musician and apart of his philosophy to writing music is to keep the music true and to enjoy the freedoms of artistic and emotional expression of music in fun pop format! The hope for this artist is for the listeners to take the themes of the songs to heart to positively affect their lives; to stay conscious, and to stay current.
