Vinay Prasad is a singer-songwriter from Bangalore. His music is somber, haunting, and meditative. The guitar playing is delicate, has subtle layers with the vocals wrapping it up like a warm blanket. The tunes are mostly introspective in nature, but also include themes about how the mind behaves and perceives the world around us. Having written heavy punishing riffs with metal experimentalists Maneating Orchid for over a decade, this solo project is an exploration of the quieter, more pensive state of mind.
