Tragedy Ann is an alt-blues, folk, canadiana duo with members Liv Cazzola (vocals, accordion, ukulele) and Braden Phelan (vocals, guitars). When grit and groove meets softly swaying silk, the music of Braden and Liv comes to fruition. With an electric chemistry and quick-witted sense of humour, they have threaded their colours and textures together to create the terrifying two-headed kitten that is Tragedy Ann. The group has a busy and exciting summer up ahead as they perform all kinds of shows in diverse locations in London and Guelph and throughout Ontario. Cazzola and Phelan draw from personal experiences to filter narrative stories of the past and present into their own songwriting. Having performed at Summerfolk 40, showcased at Folk Music Ontario 2015, taken the stage at GAINfest 2016, and released their first single "Tightrope" in March 2016, Tragedy Ann is known to make audiences laugh, cry, hug complete strangers, and is the only cure for the common cold. Bring the purr. Be sure to check them out at Live from the Rock Folk Festival in August!
