Tomii

Tomii is a singer-songwriter and producer from Hong Kong, known for his mesmerizing melodies and soulful guitar. Tomii has released quite a few solo projects, including longer projects 'Arrays' (2017), 'Not A Good Day to Die' (2018), Because We’ve Met (2024) and three EPs, 'Replay' (2020), 'Grow' (2022), 'Train of Thought' (2023), each with distinguished styles that demonstrate his musical versatility. His previous single, 'live better' and EP 'Train of Thought', were featured as cover for Spotify’s +852 Rising playlist. Since 2018, he has toured around South East Asia, including Japan, Taiwan and China. Tomii previously co-founded three bands, Tri-deuces, Stranded Whale and Fds/4eva, each with their own accomplishments. Stranded Whale played at the 2018 Clockenflap Festival (Hong Kong), as well as the Chiayi Wake Up Festival (Taiwan) in 2016 and 2018. In 2023, Fds/4eva opened for Sunset Rollercoaster’s tour in Hong Kong Star Hall. In 2020, Tomii joined Kimberly Road Union and released an well-acclaimed EP Kimberly Farm in the same year. Tomii also produced music for other artists in his home city including Serrini, Gwenji, and Jonathan Yang. As an expansion of his creativity, he also has an interest in flim scoring, and has done works for both mainstream and indie films. Tomii also co-founded the Gloomy Island Blues Festival in 2018 with photographer Bebebop, held annually to promote blues music in Hong Kong, which is a sound that is close to his heart when he first learned to play guitar and sing.
