The Vamps are a British pop rock band consisting of Brad Simpson (lead vocals and guitar), James McVey (lead guitar and vocals), Connor Ball (bass guitar and vocals) and Tristan Evans (drums and vocals). They first gained fame in late 2012 with cover songs uploaded to YouTube, and after several album releases they are now touring world wide arenas. Ahead of playing their first Sofar in June 2017, Brad Simpson from the band said 'I’ve always been a big fan of Sofar Sounds – I’ve discovered a lot of my favourite artists through it and I love how it gives them an intimate setting to showcase their music. We can’t wait for our session; it’s a chance for us to rework the songs for this stripped back setting and try something a bit different.'
