The Jellyman’s Daughter is an alternative acoustic duo hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland and is comprised of Emily Kelly (vocals, guitar, mandolin) and Graham Coe (vocals, cello). Emily and Graham first met up in 2012 and found an affinity in the way their voices combined and a new sound in the way they could combine cello and acoustic guitar or mandolin, with influences ranging from bluegrass to postrock. Graham’s cello adds an unique element with his rhythmic, percussive and unconventional playing. The Jellyman’s Daughter released their debut album in September 2014 and celebrated with a sold-out Edinburgh launch gig, as well as a host of dates across the UK. Currently the duo is touring Canada while writing new songs in preparation for their second album, sustaining the momentum that has earned them exceptional praise so far.
The Jellyman's Daughter has performed in Sofar Hamburg, Sofar Amsterdam, Sofar London Ontario, and Sofar Edinburgh.
