The Chris Ruben Band is a 6-piece Psychedelic Funk/Rock band from New York. What began in late 2014 as boys getting loud in crack shacks has quickly erupted into public bouts of discomfort which can't be stopped. The band was founded in late 2014 by Brendan Allan (Bass) and Chris Ruben (Guitars/Vocals). Having started by sharing similar tastes on guitars and music while on a pizza delivery job by Chris, the band has been able to reach a solid level of notoriety in their regional market. The Chris Ruben Band has made multiple appearances at the reoccurring music festival in upstate New York known as Froggy Daze. They've also made appearances at CBS talk show ‘Donna Drake’ as a house band and as featured guests. Incorporating influences with a mixture of ‘Nirvana’, ‘The Beatles’, ‘Stevie Wonder’, and ‘Tame Impala’, The Chris Ruben Band released their debut album “Madness On Repeat” in April 2021; receiving many great praises from both national and international music journalists. The band shows no signs of slowing down and is getting ready to release their EP “Take the Ride” in 2022. They continue to write music as well as play their high energy, electric, live shows.
