Based in London, made at Leeds uni, Ten Hands High's sound draws on rnb, neo-soul and funk influences to create an indie sound that revolves around groove and atmosphere. First arriving onto the scene in 2019's 'Phase 1', Ten Hands High quickly began to enrich their classic indie rock roots with a wider melting pot of genres. 4 years on and with credits including BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, Radio X, Spotify's Students' Union and Amazon's 'Fresh Indie' under their belt, their music has now arrived at Vibe Central Station. 'Phase 5' last year saw the band's monthly listeners quadruple, releasing 5 singles that have achieved radio play on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X as well as their first national TV spots on Made In Chelsea and This Morning. The final single of Phase 5 - Right Hand Man saw the band tackle the issue of men's mental health with a Movember fundraising campaign alongside it, and was added to Spotify's Fresh Finds UK & IE and Hot New Bands. 2024's 'Phase 6' is set to be the release of 4 singles. The 1st - Butterflies at Night was released in March and earned the band a BBC Introducing Sussex Live Lounge session and the 2nd - Happiness by Design spent 7 weeks on Spotify's Fresh Finds UK & IE. Honey Dynamite was released Aug 8th. Live, the band have sold out iconic venues like Omeara and The 100 Club in London and have played classic indie festivals like Y Not and 110 Above. In September 2024 they play their biggest headline to date at London's Lafayette.
