Award winning singer/songwriter Tate Sheridan has always been a name to watch. As a young, prodigious jazz pianist he was awarded the ACT Critics Circle Artist of the year before going on to become the youngest ever musician nominated for the prestigious Freedman Jazz Fellowship. In recent years Tate has explored a different sound - working with some of the world's best songwriters in New York and Nashville. With the release of three EP's, he has matured into a unique storyteller. His vintage approach to recording has gained the attention of legendary Australian musicians including INXS principle songwriter Andrew Farris and even global music icon Sir Elton John. Elton began playing Tate's music on his Apple Music Beats 1 Radio Show to an audience of millions before personally inviting him to be the only support act on his international Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. Tate has just recorded a debut LP capturing the beautiful rustic tones of the old Americana. He is playing with a maturity well beyond his years.
Tate Sheridan has performed in Sofar Sydney.
