Nobody does bedroom soul quite like Tarune. The solo project of NYC-based songwriter and producer, Gillian Yao Gioiello, Tarune has a timeless quality that is hard to pin down. With his bi-cultural Italian-Taiwanese upbringing and his background studying classical guitar and church meditations, Tarune's songcraft is tinged with the many flavors of his life – from the poetic hymn-like structure of his lyrics, to the exceptional craft of his fingerpicking patterns. With his breathy vocals and delicate acoustic guitar, the intimacy of Tarune's songs will transport you into some nostalgic reverie.
