Stolar wrote his first song at age seven. He doesn’t remember it now, but he remembers the act of writing it with perfect clarity. And since then, that’s all he’s ever done: Write, record and perform music. He’s performed at Firefly Music Festival alongside Calvin Harris and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as a featured artist at popular industry gatherings like the New Music Seminar and in venues around the country. His debut single, “Like You Do,” was featured on the CW’s 90210 and broke the Mediabase Radio TOP 40 chart. In the spring of 2014 Stolar’s single “Brooklyn Hustle” became the arena anthem for the Brooklyn Nets during their playoff run. “My Own Way” has debuted on SiriusXM’s pop station Hits 1 and its video has garnered over 530,000 views on YouTube since its premiere. He was a finalist for the international songwriting competition in 2015 alongside Vance Joy and Kimbre, and currently has cuts prepared for release on Sony/Epic, Universal and Armada records. His writing with singer-songwriter Caroline Pennell resulted in her placing 5th on THE VOICE and signing with Nettwerk Music Group (fun., Dispatch, Nate Ruess). With over 1000 songs in his co-write catalog and a strong team behind him, Stolar is poised for a breakout year.
