Sonas

Sonas is a formation which performs modern and traditional tunes from Irish folklore. The gathering of Irish and Bulgarian performers including the teacher of Irish dance in Sofia (Cunningham Academy of Irish Dance) Rosen Idealov who exposes the Irish dance art form as well as live with the rich palette of tunes and songs allows the audience to enjoy a mesmerizing evening of Celtic culture. In the band are also the legendary musicians from Ireland Fearghal O Maolagáin & Gary Kiernan & the skillful flute player Toma Chakarov & the great percussionist Andrey Velkov from Bulgaria.
