Simone Torres

Simone Torres is a Diamond, Grammy Nominated, engineer, vocal producer, and artist from New York. Some notable accomplishments include being honored by the Latin Recording Academy as one of their Leading Ladies of Entertainment (2023), Vocal Producing Jimin’s (BTS) song “Slow Dance” with Sofia Carson, Becky G’s “Coming Your Way,” and “La Nena,” Normani’s “Motivation” and Engineering Cardi B’s 11x Platinum “I Like It” and 4x Platinum “Be Careful.” Simone started her artist career at a young age but took pause after her audition of “Mustang Sally” on X Factor (2012) went viral, when she realized that if she ever wanted to make the music she truly wanted to, she would need to learn the technical side of making music. She never had any recordings that she was proud of, and now is grateful to be able to have the skillset to create the music she’s always wanted to. Her music is influenced by soul artists like Etta James, Christina Aguilera, Jazmine Sulivan, and La India as well as her cultural and professional backgrounds. Releasing her first original music in 2024, starting with her single BENT and accompanying music video, Simone is ready to put herself first again and finally release all of the music she has been creating. Outside of the studio, Simone is an advocate for creating safe spaces and opportunities for young women and gender expansive folks seeking music careers. She does this through her community building event Soundtrack Mixers, vocal production workshops and mentorship of up and coming talent.
