In March 2022 when releasing "Seven Kisses", the 3rd and final single from his debut album, Sean Frayne had low expectations, feeling that it was too personal and unlike any of the other tracks. Since then, it has been listened to over 250k times, added to over 6,000 fan's playlists and even made it to the semi-finals of the International Songwriting Competiton. It was the first in a string of releases that have seen Sean featured on Spotify editorial playlists, viral Instagram videos and even having one song signed to LA-based Position Music. Having grown up in Dublin, Ireland, Sean moved to Melbourne in 2009 where he was a graphic and product designer for most of his career. Music was always a big part of his life, from the records and cassettes in his parents' living room to when he first picked up a guitar aged 8, learning the basics from his Dad. He writes, produces and mixes most of his own songs, having worked with and learned from some of the best in Melbourne, including Simon Moro and Robin Waters. Sean has been prolific with his releases, having released 11 tracks since his album came out last year. He's currently working on the next batch of songs and keeping busy playing live shows and open mics around Melbourne.
Sean Frayne has performed in Sofar Melbourne.
