Sansha

Sansha is the name my mum wanted to call me before I was born but she was too scared. I chose it for my alias because I’m not scared and enjoy being called Santa by accident. I make indie music in my bedroom in South East London, and I've successfully convinced myself that my neighbours don’t find this incredibly annoying. My dad is a drama teacher and mum a music teacher so my childhood was like one long episode of glee, except I was naughty; once a judge of a violin competition told me I had a 'bad platform manner.’ Fast forward 15 years and now I perform my songs live with a synthesiser trumpet and launchpad because I’ve broken out of my cage, mom.
