Rosalie was born in Berlin, but she has spent the majority of her life in Poznań. In her output, she combines inspirations from American R&B and hip-hop of 80s and 90s’ sound and the foundness to new electronica. The first singel of the artist: This Thing Called Love produced by Mateusz Gudel, received a great deal of attention and quickly reached the brink of 20 000 YouTube views. Following songs (guest appearance on Watching You with Mentalcut and solo Do It Right, 123) resulted in the huge interest of music media and first live performances. By now, Rosalie has played gigs at several festivals: e.g. Open`er Festival, Spring Break showcase and Loftas Fest in Vilnius (Lithuania). In the end of 2015, one of the biggest Polish webpages concerning alternative music, Brand New Anthem, had mentioned Rosalie. in the first three of best up-and coming artists in 2016. On 25th of November, the Internet warmly welcomed her debut EP: Enuff. There are several appreciated faces responsible for these pitches: MIN t, Lux Familiar, Paszczak/Essex, Mateusz Gudel (Małe Miasta) and Mentalcut. Two compositions containing Polish lyrics were created in cooperation with Michał Wiraszko (Muchy). New songs gained a foothold as far as critics and journalists are concerned. Hubert Grupa from afromentioned Brand New Anthem has written that it is a stonemile in Rosalie’s career that enables us to get to know her better than ever before, as well as to admire the spectre of her talent. Kamil Babacz (Porcys) claims that her appearance on stage delights him not only because of the fact that there’s someone who records good R&B in Poland. He’s also happy since at last there’s someone here who knows less is often more.
Rosalie. has performed in Sofar Warsaw and Sofar Wroclaw.
