Robert Carroll

Robert & the Carrolls are seen regularly around Provo, Utah nightclubs, university events, and backyard parties. The band was originally created in November 2008 to participate in Club Velour's annual Battle of the Bands. The group performed Robert's original music, winning the competition on Friday night and placing second overall in the Saturday finals. The original band members included Robert Carroll (lead vocals/guitar), Nick Hardy (vocals/guitar), AJ Gubernick (keyboard), Chandler Frame (bass), and Ethan Davis (drums). The band had to dis-band as they all left at staggered dates for two years of foreign language speaking missionary work. In 2011 after Robert's return from Chile, he began composing new music. His summer 2011 hit songs include "Love in Black and White" and "Wait and See". Once the majority of the band members had returned from their missionary service, performing opportunities were presented. Anxious to share his new tunes, Robert & the Carrolls was reunited with original band members Nick Hardy & AJ Gubernick who were now fluent in Spanish and Haitan-Creole. Since Chandler and Ethan were still out of the country, the band added Max Pond (bass), Alex Nightingale (drums), and added a full-time cellist, Brooke LeBaron.
