Born in Oujda, Morocco and raised in France, Rita L'Oujdia is an independent singer-songwriter musician and producer, who freshly graduated from a Sound Engineering degree in London. Taking inspiration from her multicultural upbringing, her music blends global rhythms and genres, creating a unique sound that defies boundaries. Starting Baroque Music at the age of 4, she graduated at 18 from the Conservatoire de Lyon (France). She released her first EP "INK" at age 14 which was shortly followed by another EP and various singles from 2020 to 2021, blending languages and cultures. Since 2022, it is in her home country Morocco that L’Oujdia has stepped in, decided to make a mark. Releasing feminist anthem "Dkhol So9 Rassek" and bilingual summer hits "Mujer Cobra", “Parara” or “Perreo Triste”, she has collaborated with some of the finest moroccan artists, producers and engineers and is decided to shake things up. Her new highly anticipated EP is set for release in Autumn 2024, following several single releases & international performances over the past 2 years garnering a growing presence in the MENA region and overseas.
