Rio Sterling is an upcoming artist born and raised in South London. Rio not only takes inspiration in his music from his afro caribbean roots, he also blends the classic sounds of old soul and modern alternative RnB, creating a new, authentic and unique sound. In December 2024, He released his first single “POV”, a song sheds a light on reflection and understanding in relationships, and is a rich fusion of alternative RnB and POP. The live band instrumentation, the catchy chorus and a bassline that compels you to get up and dance, are all strong elements that set this song apart. His next release “Sky meets the water” is reminiscent of the soul classics from the 60s and 70s. This mesmerising ballad flawlessly showcases Rio’s vocal ability.
