Austrian singer-songwriter RHAYN (spoken: rain) started working on her music after moving back to her childhood home in 2020. Fond of literature she there gravitated towards expressing herself in introspective lyrics and poems. For her debut ep "Days at Home" RHAYN delved deep into her personal history, taking her listener on a journey of what it means to make and leave a home. At the foundation of her sound is a singer-songwriter style acoustic guitar. Her soft voice, often embedded in harmonies, questions the traditional role of lead and backing vocals. RHAYNs' cozy folkpop draws from a dreamy melancholy, but never without the necessary glimpse of hope.
