Rae Charlea (pronounced kar-lee-ah) is a British-Australian singer/songwriter/musician based in Liverpool, UK. Inspired by Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, Holly Humberstone, Mazzy Star & Lana Del Rey to name a few; Charlea blends lively guitars with soft & ethereal Clairo-esque vocals creating her self-described sound of 'pixie dust infused indie rock'. Cataloguing the most intimate parts of her life, Charlea leads fans through feelings of being an outsider, fangirl culture and obsession with problematic rockstars, broken homes, and unrequited love/infatuation. While still being a new face in the indie music scene, Charlea has released six singles in less than a year. Slowly carving a space for herself in this industry, Charlea ensures that her fans have a voice that understands all too well what it is like to be in the trenches that is your 20s.
