Based somehow between Stirling and Glasgow, Quitter a.k.a. Kenny Bates’ songwriting combines influences from a range of noise/dissonant and lo-fi acts alongside more conventional singer-songwriters. With recordings and performances part collage, part songs, the music attempts a rough-around-the-edges integrity and houses lyrics that hopefully make sense to you too.
