Poppy Rose here, I’m a singer and songwriter currently living, laughing and loving in the beautiful city of Bath in the UK. Songwriting is my lyrical journal; a place to process and share the highs and lows of life. My debut album 'I'm Ready Now' is out now! Live music is everything to me, so I recorded all of the songs how I wrote them: just me and my guitar and keyboard, in my cosy bedroom, in 1 week in October 2023. Live, raw and real. In this album you'll find tales of my time in Berlin as a 19 year-old, reflections on how my relationship with myself has evolved: learning to love my body and ditching alcohol, and the tragedies I've endured on my quest to find a lover. From 2018-19 I was living in Berlin and spent my days travelling across Europe playing my songs in over 100 living rooms and bars filled with people. I also supported some of my favourite artists on their tours across Germany - Skinny Living, Caamp, and James Gillespie. Poppy Rose is an acoustic singer and songwriter. Having spent her formative early 20s in Berlin, she independently organised multiple tours playing in over 100 living rooms and bars in 2019, as well as supporting numerous artists on their European tours, including Spotify Folk playlist legends, Caamp. Fast forward, 2024 was her year: she released her self-produced debut album ‘I’m Ready Now’, followed by a string of successful UK tour dates in intimate living rooms and Brighton's cosy Folklore Rooms, and her powerful song ‘I Love My Body’ was featured on HBO Max’s new show Second Chance Stage. She worked with producer Ed Graves and film maker Matthew Oaten on a live music video of ‘It Is What It Is’ at the iconic Rainbow Wood Studios, creating a moving and emotional piece of art. 2025 holds so much for Poppy Rose, with 2 new singles on the way, as well as exciting collaborations in the works, it’s going to be an incredible year.
