PHIE

PHIE is an indie artist from Colorado and writes most of her songs alone in the woods. Inspired by artists like Lana Del Rey, Mazzy Star, and a Fine Frenzy, PHIE's dreamy vocals and vulnerable, story-telling lyrics are sure to pull on the heart strings. "You know how when you're sad, there's that one song you need to hear?" muses the 25 year old songwriter. "Maybe it's a sad song, one that empathizes with your emotion and draws the tears from your eyes. Or perhaps it's the opposite, something upbeat to uplift you, to remind you you're on a rock in space and it's all sort of wonderfully meaningless. I discovered I could write the song I need to hear better than anyone else. That's why I make music, and when it resonates with the audience there is no better feeling."
