Patiño

Patiño is a Costa Rican songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for blending Latin roots music with pop and urbano. Now based in Oxford, UK, his sound fuses bolero, reggaeton, and afrobeat, reflecting a deep connection to his heritage. Signed as a songwriter with Sony Music Publishing (Mexico) and distributed by OneRPM. His career began in San José, Costa Rica, where he built a local following before headlining major festivals like Festival Imperial and FIA by 2012. In 2013, he earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2016 with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production. After Berklee, Patiño moved to Mexico City, collaborating with Daniel, Me Estás Matando on Paquita Linda, an album inspired by his family's musical history. In 2021, he relocated to the UK, partnering with British producer Jim Lawton to release the Londres EP. In 2025, Patiño will release PENSÉ QUE TE HACÍA FELIZ, an EP that explores Costa Rica’s unique cultural crossroads. Taking bold creative risks in both lyrics and production, he aims to elevate Costa Rican music onto the global stage as a key player in the ever-expanding Latin music scene.
