*Orçun Atilla* is a musician from Van, Turkey, born in 1986. He began his musical journey at the age of 13, starting with the *bağlama* (Turkish saz). Over the years, Orçun has mastered several traditional Turkish instruments, including the *divan saz*, *ud*, *cümüş*, and *çağlama*. He performs traditional *Anatolian folk songs* both instrumentally and vocally. Throughout his career, Orçun has been involved in various bands and solo projects, exploring a wide range of musical genres. His inspiration comes primarily from the rich cultural heritage of Anatolia, particularly the *folk poets* who have successfully bridged the past, present, and future through their music. Orçun’s approach to music is rooted in tradition, as he strives to preserve the authenticity of ancient folk songs while adding his personal touch. He interprets these songs with a modern perspective, infusing them with his own emotions and unique musical expressions.
