OKTOBA grew from beginnings in folk inspired storytelling to now a much richer, deeper and captivating sound. The latest exposure for Chris has seen and heard OKTOBA's music featuring on ITV2's Love Island with tracks ‘It Must Be Love’ and ‘Chance’. Reaching listeners in the millions and resulting in a surge of new musical interest for him around the world. Most recently, again with his track Chance, Amazon Original show 'Clarkson's Farm' chose his heartfelt number to conclude the series in its' final segment. Spotify have also got behind OKTOBA, adding him into their editorial playlists ‘Easy’ and ‘Sad Songs’ Releasing his debut album Smoke Signals in 2015. The record was an honest album with Chris speaking of family, relationships and life. Working on his debut with producer Tim Bidwell (Lucy Rose, Memorial), Tim brought big influences of Folk and Americana to the tracks. With nearly 3 years between Chris’s debut release and his next single ‘Chance’, an undeniable sound development took place. Now working within new sound scapes with producer Ben Townsend (Chungking), the pair have been developing, creating and releasing music together for the past few years and Chris is now set to release his next album in 2022.
