O Jonny

O Jonny is a 21-year-old performer from Long Island, New York. With inspirations spanning from Carole King to Kanye West, O Jonny's music exists in a range of genres. He released two albums in 2019, the first titled "The Hummingbird Saturday Vol. 1" which compiled tracks of rap music scored by jazz-inspired instrumentation and the second titled "Monarch." which was a love letter to modern folk music on which O Jonny wrote and performed the entire rhythm section. "Monarch." was also accompanied by a short film which spanned the length of the album (30:53) and was shot by collaborator Joshua Ben-Dylan who has assisted O Jonny on many other visual projects like his 2019 Tiny Desk Submission which can all be found on Youtube.
