NÉOMI

NÉOMI is the moniker for Rotterdam based folk-pop singer-songwriter Neomi Speelman. She writes authentic and sincere stories backed by dreamy soundscapes inspired by the classic folk songwriters, old and new alike. “My main music influences are definitely Bon Iver, Bob Dylan and Ben Howard, their lyrics are outstanding and insanely beautiful. I don’t think they make songs but they make art, poems. That’s something I also really try to do: make little poems instead of songs.” NÉOMI is working closely with British engineer/producer Edd Hartwell (Tom Walker, Birdy, Tom Odell) with a debut single planned before the end of 2019. With a 6-piece band now formed to fully capture her live vision it won’t be long until NÉOMI’s journey finds its way to you.
